Cable feeding tool EZ.BOOSTER

Tool for pressed air-aided insertion of fiber optic cables (diameter 0.5 mm to 8.0 mm) in micro-ducts. With the EZ.BOOSTER connected to a standard compressor you have a simple and easy way to feed fiber optic cables quickly and safely into micro-ducts. Insertion lengthup to 500 m.

In combination with the EZ.SPEEDY performance can even be improved.

Application

  1.      Select and assemble rubber discs according to cable dimension
  2.      Select and assemble entrance plate (green)
  3.      ​according to cable dimension
  4.      Screw on tube coupling
  5.      Connect micro-duct to EZ.BOOSTER
  6.      Insert fiber optic cable into EZ.BOOSTER (approx. 1 m)
  7.      Connect pressed air hose to EZ.BOOSTER and switch on compressor
  8.      Push fiber optic cable step by step and smoothly into micro-duct.

EZ.BOOSTER in combination with EZ.SPEEDY

  1. Select and assemble rubber discs according to cable dimension
  2. Select and assemble connection plate (violet) according to cable dimension
  3. Screw on tube coupling
  4. Connect micro-duct to EZ.BOOSTER
  5. Screw on coupling front to EZ.SPEEDY
  6. Connect EZ.SPEEDY to EZ.BOOSTER
  7. Fit hex bit holder to cordless drill
  8. Controle/select speed  torque
  9. Insert fiber optic cable through cable guide
  10. (insert approx. 1 m) into micro-duct
  11. Close EZ.SPEEDY handles
  12. Connect pressed air hose to EZ.BOOSTER and switch on compressor
  13. Fit cordless drill to one of the hex screws and start operating the drill
  14. Fiber optic cable will be inserted quickly, smoothly and evenly into micro-duct.
