Cable feeding tool EZ.SPEEDY

The perfect tool for installing cables (ø 0.5 mm to 8.0 mm) into micro-tubes. Connect the EZ.SPEEDY to a standard cordless drill and start feeding cables (FUs, FOCs, etc) quickly and safely (without bending) into micro-ducts. Ideal for the “LAST MILE”. In connection with the EZ.BOOSTER the cable will be blown even more smoothly and evenly (lengths up to 500 m).

Application

  1. Select and assemble rubber roller according to cable dimension.
    (appropriate cable dimension is stamped into aluminum ring of rubber roller)
  2. Select and assemble cable guide according to cable dimension
  3. Screw on the tube coupling
  4. Connect to micro-duct
  5. Fit hex bit holder to cordless drill
  6. Controle/select speed torque
  7. Insert fiber optic cable through cable guide (insert approx. 1 m)
  8. Close EZ.SPEEDY handles
  9. Fit cordless drill to one of the hex screws and start operating the drill
  10. Cable will be pushed into micro-duct 

EZ.SPEEDY in combination with EZ.BOOSTER

  1. Select and assemble cable guide according to cable dimension
  2. Prepare EZ.BOOSTER to be used with EZ.SPEEDY (violet connection plate)
  3. Connect micro-duct to EZ.BOOSTER
  4. Screw on coupling front to EZ.SPEEDY
  5. Connect EZ.SPEEDY to EZ.BOOSTER
  6. Fit hex bit holder to cordless drill
  7. Controle/select speed torque
  8. Insert fiber optic cable through cable guide (insert approx. 1 m)
  9. Close EZ.SPEEDY handles
  10. Connect pressed air hose to EZ.BOOSTER and switch on compressor
  11. Fit cordless drill to one of the hex screws and start operating the drill
  12. Fiber optic cable will be inserted smoothly and evenly into micro-duct
